Transportation
Subway Map. To ride on a New York City subway, you must have a Metro Card. These can be purchased from a ticket machine with a credit card at any subway booth or at a token booth. The fare is $2.
For passengers arriving at JFK International Airport, there is a free monorail that goes between the terminals, and one line goes to the Long Island Railroad station in Jamaica (map). You must have a Metro Card to exit the platform (this costs $5), and from there you can take a train directly to Pennsylvania Station in New York City, which is a short walk from both the hotel and the CUNY Graduate Center.
Passengers arriving at LaGuardia airport can take the M60 bus to Harlem (E 125 St. and Lenox Ave.). From there, subway lines 2 & 3 connect to Pennsylvania Station in New York City, which is a short walk from both the hotel and the CUNY Graduate Center.
